Because Easter is early this year (21st March) we have taken the decision to have the Tournament later in April when the Schools are on Holiday.
Hopefully this will match in with most schools and will also help with the weather.
However we are reserving the right to delay the tournament by one week in case the weather is bad.
The aim of the club for this tournament is for all the teams entered to enjoy 2 days of good football and fair play.
The format for all age groups will be a league set up with the top two teams going to the Cup semi-final and the 3rd and 4th place going to the Plate semi-final.
Food and drink will be available on site along with other things for the family to participate in.
We do hope you enjoy your day at our club.
Tournament Dates:
Boys Under 9's and 10's - Saturday April 12th 2008
Boys Under 7 , 8 's and 11's - Sunday April 13th 2008
Under 11's Age Group
It's with regret that we must announce that the under 11`s tournament age group has been cancelled this year.
It's a casualty of the early Easter. With different regions having different School Holidays and the Under 11's still playing League games , we just couldn't get enough entrants to be able to run a competition.
