Social Committee Meeting Minutes - 16^th November 2006

The rota for the bag pack on 25^th November was finalised. 

Donations requested from each team to make up a hamper for the Christmas raffle.

Ideas were put forward for the “quiet period” at New Year to keep people entertained.  Some of these were:

The Yes  -  No game

Play your cards right

Open the box

Talent contest

Members were asked to get 2 volunteers from their team to help clean up after New Years Eve party.  There was quite a negative response.  The general feeling was that no-one would want to do it.  Even if people did volunteer they probably wouldn’t turn up!

There are still some teams who are not represented.  As this is now a Club requirement the managers will be asked to get a representative.

It was suggested that each team sells a football card once a month to raise money.  This has had to be put on hold until we have a representative from each team who can sell the cards as it was said that these could not be given to the managers to give out.

The next meeting will be in January.  When a date is set everyone will be informed
